Summer is the perfect time of the year to visit Sweden. Weather is typically ideal with blue sky and pleasant temperatures. The conference is located in the wonderful area of West Sweden, close to the sea and waterfalls. The venue is the campus of Folkhögskolan of Ljungskile—a small and cozy community in the Swedish archipelago just 60 km north of Gothenburg. The conference is placed just after to the IFIP Conference (5-7 August, 2016), which will use the same venue.

Getting there

By Air
Göteborg Landvetter Airport is Sweden's second largest airport with 90 direct flights around the world.  It takes 20 minutes to travel by taxi or airport coach (Flygbuss) between the airport and Nils Ericsson terminalen (Gothenburg central station). At the airport, the buses are located directly outside the check-in hall.

You can buy a ticket for the flightbus via the website: Flygbussarna's website or via telephone: +46 (0)771 51 52 52.

Taxis are located directly outside the arrivals hall. Taxi companies often have a fixed price for travel between the airport and Gothenburg Central Station. Always enquire about the price before travelling.

By train or bus
Public transport, by bus or train, departs from Gothenburg to ljungskile at least once per hour (travel time is 50-60 minutes). Both trains and buses (820, 840 and 860) make their departures from Gothenburg Central Station.

By car
